Holkin Design is a web & AI studio based in St. Thomas, Ontario. We keep this simple: we collect only what we need to help you, we protect it, and we don't sell it. This policy explains what we collect through our website and our AI studio assistant, why, and your choices — in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Information you give us. When you use our contact form or chat with our studio assistant and choose to share details, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), and the message or inquiry you send.
Anonymous usage information. To understand how the assistant is used and to keep it working well, we log limited, anonymized activity — the page you were on, a general (city‑level) location, and device type. We do not store your IP address, and email addresses and phone numbers are stripped out of these logs.

By submitting our form or sharing your details with the assistant, you consent to us using that information to respond to you as described above. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us — see "Your rights" below.
We keep your contact and inquiry information for up to 12 months, then delete it — unless we're actively working together or you've asked us to stay in touch. Our anonymized usage logs are automatically purged after 12 months.
We never sell or rent your personal information. We use a small number of trusted service providers to run our website and assistant, who process data on our behalf under their own safeguards:
Some of these providers may process or store information outside Canada (including in the United States), where it may be subject to the laws of that country. We share only what's needed for them to provide their service.
Our studio assistant answers only from a knowledge base we approve — it doesn't have access to other visitors' conversations or any outside customer data. If you choose to share your contact details, it uses them for one purpose: to pass your inquiry to us so we can follow up.
